Privacy Policy

• Birth data. The date, optional time, place, and coordinates you enter to compute a chart, for yourself or for a person you add. This is the core input, and the most personal data we hold.
• Account information. Your email and authentication details when you create an account or sign in with Google. Before you sign in, an anonymous session id is stored in a cookie so a chart you cast stays with you.
• Photos. If you add a photo to a chart, we store it to show on your account.
• Payment information. When you buy a report, Stripe processes the payment. We receive a limited record such as the amount, date, and the email used, never your full card number.
• Usage and device data. Standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, plus privacy-first analytics.
• Feedback. Anything you send us through the feedback form or by email.

• To compute your chart and generate the readings you ask for, and to run your account and deliver what you bought. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to understand and improve the product in aggregate. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
• For optional analytics cookies and any marketing. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We never use your birth data to build advertising profiles, and there is no ad-tech on the report surface.

Free charts and the teaser are computed and written entirely on our own systems, with no third-party AI involved. When you purchase a full report, your computed placements and birth details are sent to Google (Gemini) to author the report text, acting as our service provider under its data processing terms. It is used to produce your report, not to profile you.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we never trade it to advertisers or data brokers. We use a small set of service providers to run AstroSense, each processing data only to provide its service to us:

• Vercel — hosting and cookieless analytics.
• Google Cloud and Firebase — database, sign-in, and file storage.
• Google (Gemini) — authoring purchased reports.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Analytics — optional, consent-based analytics.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users.

We and our providers are based in or transfer data to the United States. Where we move personal data out of the UK or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses, through our providers’ data processing agreements.

We keep your charts, reports, photos, and account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your birth data, photos, and reports. An anonymous session expires on its own if you never sign in. We keep limited payment and transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the California CPRA, you can:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct it. You can fix birth data and regenerate a report for free.
• Delete your account and its data yourself, from your account page, or ask us to.
• Export your reports.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time.
• If you are a California resident: know what we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we will never treat you differently for exercising a right.

To exercise any of these, use your account page or email hello@timurtek.com. If you are in the UK or the EEA and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

If you add a chart or photo for someone else, you are responsible for having their permission to share their birth details and image with us. If someone tells us their information was added without consent, we will remove it on request. Contact hello@timurtek.com.

We use a few essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember a chart you cast. We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics to count page views. Optional Google Analytics stays off until you accept it, and you can decline or withdraw with no loss of function.

AstroSense is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and to notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and we will highlight significant changes.
